Our Story

Sometimes the best love stories begin with a leap of faith — and a plane ticket.

James and I met two years ago on a dating site, and from the very beginning, something just felt different. After countless conversations and an undeniable connection, I decided to take a chance and fly to Las Vegas for our first date. That leap turned into something truly special — we hit it off instantly, and have been together ever since.

Two weeks after we met, we took our first trip together when James met me for a business trip in my hometown of Wichita, KS. Interestingly enough, James also has a connection to Wichita. He spent multiple summers there with his beloved Grandma! The temperatures were practically subarctic, and he almost didn’t make the trip — but thankfully, love (and determination) won out. From that moment on, travel and shared experiences have become the heartbeat of our relationship.

We both share a love for fine dining, great food, wonderful wine, and creating meaningful memories. Whether we're exploring new places or quiet nights doing nothing at all, just being together is our favorite place to be.

Living in different cities — James in Las Vegas and me in Colorado Springs — hasn’t always been easy, but we've made our long-distance relationship work through love, trust, and lots of miles traveled. Every visit has only strengthened our bond and deepened our appreciation for one another.

We are incredibly grateful for the journey that brought us together and for the love we continue to build every day. We look forward to a future filled with adventure, laughter, and a lifetime of shared experiences — and we can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you.
